A Bride Most Begrudging by Deeanne Gist, Bethany House.
This timeless love story of Lady Constance Morrow and Drew O'Connor is provocative, witty, and endearing--no fingers crossed behind my back!
Ms. Gist's first novel is breathtaking.
My advice? Read with smelling-salts.
thanks, angie. I owe you a chapter critique. I haven't forgotten. :)
My favorite Christian romance this year was Janet Elaine Smith's A Christmas Dream. A mature romance about a single mother whose soldier hubby died in Iraq. It was very real, no kneejerk sentiment. Great for Christians and non-christians.
My favorite Chistian romance this year is Kendra Norman-Bellamy's Because Of Grace. The love between Dr. Gregory Dixon and his wife Grace is realistically portrayed, and the choice he is forced to make because of that love is compelling and holds the reader's attention to the end.
In my opinion Janet Elaine Smith's books are inspiring and always believe that there truly is good in life. She makes love seem like a real possibility.

My favorite Christian fiction novel was Crossing Jhordan's River by Kendra Norman-Bellamy.
It was about a man who struggled with past issues and it almost destroyed his life with his current wife. The wife was a devout Christian but had to learn some things herself.
Made Of Honor by Marilynn Griffith
It was nice seeing old friends fall in love again.
