"If something ever happens to me, no one can ever tell her that her dad didn't take care of her."
-Terrell Pough, People Magazine Aug. 05 issue
The 76ers payed for a public memorial service for Diamond's father - Terrell Pough, 18, of Germantown - next week, and good Samaritans nationwide are offering Christmas gifts to Diamond. Sad story...it made me cry thinking about it. So sad.
I'll keep you posted about Diamond's progress.

What is going on in this country? I just don't get it. This is happening to often. The murder rate in our city is up again this year.
I read about this young man's murder when researching programs for teen fathers online for a colleague. He was an active member of a teen father program in Philly and apparently was a model student in the program.
At a time when all you hear about is how black males aren't taking care of their children, and especially the young ones, it truly breaks your heart to see a shining example of true black fatherhood cut down so early in his life.
I feel like I lost something I didn't even know him
