Why are there so many historical Christian Fiction releases?

At my feet are stacks of historical Christian fiction romance novels. So far the reads are easy, but I wonder where are the other books? Are Christian readers gravitating back to more prairie romances and regencies or are Christian writers who write outside of those genres moving to ABA publishers?
