I cannot believe. I cannot believe it. Two of my favorite actors: Gary Dourdan(CSI) and Mekhi Phifer(ER) were killed off their shows last night. I am so done. I'll be writing all day. No TV.

Ooooh, is that what his name is - he's on one of the CSIs, right? I know I've watched him before. AA men are wayyyy hot on tv... dunno why they're killing them off. Today was Montel's last show. I wonder who's next too :(
I just knew that was going to happen to him when that guy approached his car. Man I am soooo mad!
Considering Gary Dourdan's recent run ins with the law, I expected no less than this.
I thought so, too Regina, but you have to remember they taped this show long before his troubles this year. I feel bad that he found himself in a bad place and thought that drugs would help him through it. He's too good an actor for this. Maybe he'll get the Robert Downey, Jr. treatment.
What they killed off Mekhi Phifer?!!!
I missed ER on Thursday and I was so mad with myself. Where/when can I see a repeat? Does anyone know?
Of course the African American characters are always among the first to be killed off. Racism is a live and well in America - it just may be more hidden than it once was.
How terrible to have two of your favorites die on one night!
Dawn, I'm hurt. I know Dourdan didn't renew his contract, but I wasn't expecting Mekhi, too. He'll be back for the first show of the 15th season. I hope Blair Underwood returns to tv dramas. I'm afraid to see if anything will happen to Hill Harper on CSI,NY. I don't watch the show, because I have a tv budget. But since ER, CSI won't be in the budget next year, who knows.
