Is Your Publishing House an Advertiser's Nightmare?
Happy Notworking Day for some of you. Great discussion on why book publishers suck at advertising and why they better catch on fast at Buzz, Balls & Hype.
My answer is on Twitter, but I will share in more detail in a blog post at The Master's Artist next week.

OT: Palin's Parenting topples Gustav
If the GOP was concerned with Hurricane Gustav would take the thunder from their convention coverage, think again. The New Yorker has a story about Palin's Obama endorsement, her husband's 24-year-old DWI charge, as well as Twitter is blowing up with breaking news of her teenage daughter's pregnancy. No Comment. Just FYI. Maybe we can get back to letting this election's focus on what matters...

The issues would be nice, but it's hard to do that Dee when their private lives keep falling out of the closet. As for Palin, I guess the in-home sex ed talks didn't work. Maybe Palin should reconsider her position, because while I'm sure or I would hope, she and her husband educated their daughter, she's still pregnant. Think about how many more hundreds of thousands of teens who's parents don't talk to them about sex. Do they stand a chance without sex ed being introduced in schools? Okay, backing away from it all. I just hate when we live in the bubble that says all kids have responsible parents that will do their part. It takes a village. When are the conservatives going to wake up to that.
i know, Rhonda. that is a real issue we need to discuss, but as you can see the GOP wants to wipe this under the rug
