Thomas Nelson Layoff
As a leadership team, we struggled with this decision for several weeks. As recently as September 19, I assured our employees that we were not planning another reduction in our workforce. It was not even a remote consideration. But the final September and October sales reports changed that. Michael Hyatt
Thomas Nelson Publishers President & CEO Michael S. Hyatt informed TNP readers that this week they are laying off 10% of their workforce. This is their second layoff this year. Honestly, I'm more concerned with the layoffs at Atlanta City Hall then any publishing house. We have been in a recession for a while. However, I do appreciate Hyatt for keeping obvious supporters of the company informed personally about the state of the company. I really applaud him for that. Good PR.

On Tyler: Why would this woman even do this? His play "Diary of A Mad Black Woman" was out way before and he has made movie, after movie. This lady is just out for money. That's right Tyler, stand for what you believe in!!!
Hey, girl. I'll keep you posted about the case.
