During December, bookstore sales fell 4.7% to $2.051 billion--down for the fourth month in a row--according to preliminary estimates from the Census Bureau. In November, bookstore sales fell 13% compared to the same period a year earlier...Religious books rose 3.5% to $49.3 million (down 7.6% for the year).
