Hi, all I'm Dee Stewart, owner of DeeGospel PR and I have post partum heart failure. PPCM (peripartum cardiomyopathy) is a form of heart disease that effects the left side of your heart and occurs after labor. My heart function is 45%. When I tell people about my condition, particularly mothers I've learned that they've never heard of this form of heart disease, and worst that their is no cure, no causes for this disease. Join me this month in supporting the American Heart Association's Go Red Book Event. Christian Fiction Author Dwan Abrams will be on hand to read from her latest novel, Married Strangers. She will be selling and signing these books. Net proceeds from her sells, as well as all sales in the store(including, books, music, the cafe) will benefit the Go Red Campaign. Poet and Christian Fiction Author, Hank Stewart will read one of his award winning poems, and Contemporary Christian Music national recording artist, B. David(Destiny Praise)will perform his debut single. I hope you come out and fellowship and save a heart on February 20, 2009. Wow, Dee. I am amazed at what you accomplish with this condition. I have never heard of this before. Thanking God I got thru five labors.

I also have ppcm. Like you I have only meet two people that have ever heard of ppcm. Hopefully we can get the word out and let me be aware that it does happen.
