Today is Barbie's 50 Birthday and yes I am a collector. Sadly, two years ago I sold all my Barbies to take care of my family. This year I bought an Alvin Ailey Barbie to celebrate my birthday and my road to recovery. Thank you, my Lord. As I watched the news media wonder about the Barbie fascination, I realized something profound about myself. Everything I learned about storytelling I learned from Barbie.
