I like the looks of "Inconvenient Friend." I may do this challenge! Quick recommendation for others for summer reading in the Christian fiction category (though I do find that limiting sometimes, I have to say). It's the "Testings of Devotion" by Cheryl Dellasega (who also wrote about female bullying, which is very interesting). Angels abound -- and this book shows us the unseen spiritual world. Some people might find it difficult because they can't envision Lucifer tempting angels or visiting heaven, and they might be challenged by the idea of a "mortal" being allowed to work alongside the angels in the battle of good vs evil. But it's fascinating to read a book where angels have faces and names -- they're not just floating around on the clouds. Very interesting and very thought-provoking.
thanks, liz.
brief note- christian fiction blog highlights mainly christian titles. however there are some on the list that are mainstream, not christian.
