Thousands of protesters gathered in Jena, Louisiana, on Thursday to show support for the "Jena 6," six black teens charged in the beating of a white classmate.
Below is a video of the rally on 9/11.
Question: Do you understand why the Jena 6 incident has so many African-Americans outraged? Share. You can be anonymous. I really want to know your thoughts.

what really pulls at my heart strings is that if you follow Christ you cannot advocate violence, However, the reaction to the crime was absolutely outrageous. It gives white people who are in leadership a bad name. What makes them think that just because they have authority in this country that they are in control over our(black peoples) destiny. "with the stroke of a pen" give me a break, GOD is in control of our destiny. But a cautionary note, God doesn't cause sinful behavior and is not responsible for it but he allows events to take place. My concern is that we will remove all the consequences for behavior. That will not serve our young men, neither that white boy that got off with the slap of the wrist. He didn't get away with anything. God sees everything. Please, we don't know what's coming up the road in his life. God never forgets, (you reap what you sow) and lastly, God's justice sometimes is different than ours, because he looks at our heart. This is by no way abdicating the judge responsiblity for his foolish obvious disregard for young Black life."Don't worry his is coming too" But reminds our young men to think twice before they act, let God fight our battles and God is ultimately in control, NOT WHITE PEOPLE! PULEEEZE!
Anonymous, bless you. I am going to post exactly about your thoughts later this morning. I agree wholeheartedly.
