I am a little perturbed by the pulling of the magazine and the audacity to say it's a man's role/job.
I say name a couple of jobs men should do but women make it their priority like, being a father and the main bread winner, but you know how slackers do it.
I have heard woman preachers before and I enjoyed them just as much as I enjoyed the male preachers. God's word is for everyone and he speaks through whom ever he sees fit.
We have a female associate pastor at my church. The way I see it, women are often the spiritual teachers in the home and in Sunday School classes, so why not with the adults as well? Are the lessons and doctrine they share with children somehow wrong or not good enough?
My mum, however, (blindly?) follows what she grew up with and refuses to discuss the issue. Sigh.
That's a good question, Becca. I never thought of that.
One of my BFF's is an associate pastor of Presbyterian church in Denver. When I need some real help I go to her first.
